‘Both parties are guilty’

“Do you suppose that Republicans might be saved by the endangered species act?” The answer to this is not as long as the extreme liberal wing continues their obstruction. Blame exists in both parties; however, to use the conservative-plot game as an excuse for a lack of responsibility is a diversion from real issues.

Look to the voting records. Why was the nuclear energy industry put on hold? When was the last oil refinery built (30 years ago)? When Osama bin Laden was in our gun sights President Clinton did not pull the trigger and all administrations by a lack of resolve allowed terrorism to grow. Foreign oil imports in 1990 were 24 percent of our annual usage and today it is over 70 percent. The money that we spend on oil imports go to many nations that do not take action against known terrorist groups. What votes prevented oil companies to limit their exploration while this was going on? Why did the mortgage mess grow? Both parties are guilty with a lack of responsibility in favor of greed rather than oversight.

Congress really calls the shots and any president can do little without their help. Those who are willing to negotiate deserve your vote.
