Book exhibition flows around the primal element

Water is the theme of a month-long exhibition of art books in the coastal town of Point Reyes Station, north of San Francisco on Tamales Bay.

“Water Books, The Wild Book Show,” opens Saturday and offers works including one-of-a-kind sculptural books and intimate limited editions.

The books will be auctioned off, with 50 percent going to the authors and 50 percent benefiting the local Artists in the Schools program.



The exhibit starts Saturday at Point Reyes Books and Gallery and continues through July 6; a reception will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. June 14. The closing party, with final bidding from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. July 6.
