Bob Cary

A private celebration of life for Bob Cary of Grass Valley will take place at a later date.

Mr. Cary died Wednesday, June 23. He was 59.

He was born May 18, 1945, in San Mateo to Frank and Anita (Bobsien) Cary. He graduated from California State University at Humboldt with a bachelor of science degree in forestry. He marred Gina in 1973.



He worked for the U.S. Forest Service for 35 years. Mr. Cary was a member of the Society of American Foresters and enjoyed backpacking, gardening and other outdoor activities.

He is survived by his wife, Gina; daughter, Angela Cary; and mother, Anita Cary, all of Grass Valley; brother and sister-in-law Mark and Marcia Cary of Woodland; and numerous brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews; and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, David Cary.




Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of the Foothills.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
