Blanche Hersman

Memorial services for Blanche Morris Hersman of Conway, Ark., will be conducted in Spokane, Wash. at a later date.

Mrs. Hersman died Tuesday, Jan. 27, at St. Andrews Place. She was 96.

She was born Oct. 8, 1907, to James Nathaniel and Ella Catherine (Pfannebecker) Morris. She was a former head cashier for Sears, Roebuck and Co. in San Francisco. She had been a previous resident of Grass Valley for 30 years.



She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Manford D. and Betty Morris of Little Rock, Ark.; and nieces and nephews, Donald Morris of Oregon, Kathee Morris of Spokane, Wash., James Nimnicht of Ellensburg, Wash., Cheryl Wood of Blevins, Ark., Mary Scruggs of Conway, and James Morris of Nashville, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Hersman, in July 2003; and her parents.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Ark.
