Sierra Starr Vineyard open after remodeling

Sierra Starr Vineyard & Winery has reopened after a long-term remodeling project was completed at their Grass Valley business.

Owner Phil Starr said the winery has been closed for several months for work on the grounds and patio. The winery had a grand re-opening this past weekend.

IB&C agent earns agricultural designation




Jamie Goodrich, a personal lines insurance agent, has earned an Argibusiness Farm Insurance Specialist designation. It takes three years to earn the designation and is the nation’s only insurance designation on farm and agricultural risks.

Chiropractor joins local LeTip group

Chiropractor David Hay of Dr. David Hay and Associates in Grass Valley is the newest member of LeTip of Grass Valley/Nevada City.

“We are a serious business referral organization,” said Chapter President Mary Anne Davis of KNCO Radio. “Our members will be putting their networking skills to work for Dr. David Hay and Associates, just as they do for each other.
