Big health insurance has nerve to raise rates

News reports appeared recently that Anthem Blue Cross plans to increase its customers’ premiums by up to 39 percent. That same day we received a letter from Anthem Blue Cross addressed to my father, Dwight Bolinger, offering him health insurance. My father died 18 years ago.

Perhaps Anthem Blue Cross and its parent company, Well-Point Inc., could reduce some of their costs and their customers’ premiums by cleaning up their mailing lists.
