Beula Martin

Graveside services for Beula Lela Martin of Grass Valley will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Grass Valley.

Mrs. Martin died Friday, Nov. 8, in Grass Valley. She was 94.

She was born July 22, 1908, in Sweetwater, Okla., to Bohman and Sarah Jane Ray. She married Bob Martin on Dec. 7, 1923, in Sweetwater. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her son, James Martin; daughter, Linda Martin; grandsons Dennis and Martin Poulter and Jeffrey, James and Joseph Martin; granddaughters Bernadine Poulter, Jane and Sheila Martin, Kathy Nestell and Lynn Guin; great-grandsons David Barnett Jr., Chase Mata, Miles, Trevor and Ryan Nestell, J.R. and Robert Mitchel and Kevin and Ethan Martin; great-granddaughters Sheila Birch, Jennifer Poulter, Tabatha Nestell, Michaela, Mindy, Misty, Melissa, Stephanie, Stacie and Ashley Martin and Danielle and Desirae Poulter; and great-great-grandsons Bradley and Patrick Birch and Andrew Rodriquez. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1977; sons Harold, Sid, Dave and William Martin; daughters Lois and Elsie Martin; and grandson, Harold Martin.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
