Betty Hoskin

Betty Alice Hoskin, 73, of Grass Valley died Saturday, Dec. 7, in Grass Valley.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services.



Mrs. Hoskin was born July 1, 1929, in Fort Bragg, to John and Irma Griggs. She graduated from a Greenville High School. She married John Hoskin in 1976 in Sacramento. She worked for the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers in Sacramento. She was a member of the Nevada County Republican Womens Federation. She enjoyed reading, collecting and being with people.

She is survived by her husband, John Hoskin of Grass Valley; sons Dennis Parsons of Anderson and David Parsons of Redding; stepdaughters Shelley Backman and Sandra Woldridge, both of Sacramento; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.




Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
