Best Restaurant – Nevada City – Friar Tuck’s Restaurant

Friar Tuck’s Restaurant started as a 40-seat restaurant just after Christmas in 1973 during the reconstruction of Nevada City. Over the years it was remolded and expanded several times. The biggest was in 1979 when the big beams and wood walls were installed along with the antique bar from England. Unfortunately all of this burned down in the big fire of 2002. Everyone from everywhere found out. Friar tucks will be part of Nevada City for many years to come.
