Beason shines on growth issues

All newcomers like us want to raise the drawbridge and bolt the gate as a simplistic and desperate solution to preserving Nevada County. This is less than productive. Managing inevitable growth for the benefit of us all requires solving complex and interrelated problems. For a number of reasons I believe that Nate Beason, the District 1 candidate for Supervisor, is the best person for the job.

Nate Beason is a leader proven through successful careers in our most rigorous and respected professional institutions (http://www.natebeason.org). A demonstrated quick study on complex issues and problems, Nate knows that “you can’t do just ONE thing.” All policies have far-reaching effects that must be considered from the start. Nate also knows how to listen and has a record as an even-handed and trusted manager of people, organizations, and high-value assets.

Finally, Nate Beason is no yes-man to any special interest; his record of honorable service and accomplishments is an open book ” what we see is what we get. We should take advantage of such talent and energy when it steps forward to offer public service. I urge my District 1 neighbors to join me and elect Nate Beason County Supervisor.
