Tickets are selling quickly for Friday’s “One World, One Voice, One Dream,” a concert of seasonal and nonseasonal songs from 12 countries, at Bear River High School.

Presented by the school’s choral music department, the concert features all school choirs: Women’s Chorus, Women’s Ensemble, Men’s Chorus, Jazz Unlimited, Dash of Jazz and Starlight Express.

Highlights include Scottish music by Peter Schram on bagpipes, a special appearance by the Young Men of Magnolia and 150 voices singing “One Dream,” written in response to the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

“This is a beautiful, emotional piece of music expressing our desire to move forward in harmony with the world,” said Bear River choral music director Cherry Hayes.

The concert begins at 7 p.m. Reserved seating is $4 general and $3 students and seniors for tickets bought at the BRHS student store. Tickets are $5 at the door.

The school is at 11130 Magnolia Road.
