Jazz Unlimited has more to sing about these days.

Bear River High School’s award-winning jazz choir just released its first CD, “I Can’t Give You Anything But Love,” and will celebrate in a free 7 p.m. concert party Friday.

Among Jazz Unlimited’s honors and awards have been first-place honors at the RAVES Redding Jazz Festival this year and a gold medal at Festival at Sea in the Bahamas last year.

The choir was invited to appear in Carnegie Hall in 2003 with nine other U.S. jazz choirs.

Friday’s concert is in the Bear River amphitheater at 11130 Magnolia Road. Bring blankets or low lawn chairs.

Call 268-3700 with questions.
