Bay area author visits Bookseller

David Corbett, a Bay Area mystery writer, will talk about his latest novel, “Done For a Dime,” tonight at The Book Seller in Grass Valley.

The novel’s action takes place in bars and jazz clubs of a Northern California town where small-time crime and big-time corruption collide. “Done For a Dime” was a New York Times Notable Book of 2003.

Corbett’s first career was as a private investigator working on high-profile criminal and civil cases in San Francisco.

He also wrote “The Devil’s Redhead.”

Corbett will be at The Book Seller (107 Mill St.) starting at 6:30 p.m.

Call the store at 272-2131 for more information.
