Memorial services for Barbara (Brosnan) Morgan will be conducted at a later date.

Ms. Morgan died Saturday, Nov. 2, at Meadow View Manor in Grass Valley. She was 56.



She was born on April 3, 1946, in Belleville, Ill., to William A. Brosnan and Audrey Jean Fitzgerald. She graduated from the College of San Mateo as a licensed vocational nurse in 1966. She was a nurse for 20 years and her last employment was at Rideout Hospital in Marysville. She enjoyed gardening, pets and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa Leon and Albert Leon III of Grass Valley; son, Sean Morgan of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister, Janet Ottonello of Inkom, Idaho; brother, Bill Blankenship of New Mexico; and grandchildren, Darian and Kevin Morgan of Sacramento.




She was preceded in death by her father, William Augustus Brosnan, in 1946; and mother, Audrey Jean Brosnan in 1978.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Neptune Society.
