Big Advice’s debut CD just released

Big Advice’s debut CD, “Love Shines,” and four-song DVD “Hearts on Fire” are now available at Record Connection in Grass Valley.

The Los Angeles-based R&B group debuted at the Center for the Arts in Grass Valley last March. Lead vocalist Ahaguna G. Sun (who also drums on the CD), bassist/singer Juan Nelson and guitarist Werner Schuchner, all band co-founders, have played together in various lineups for 25 years. They formed Big Advice to feature their originals.

Big Advice members were influenced by ’70s R&B acts such as Earth, Wind & Fire; Tower of Power and Stevie Wonder.

With the CD now in stores including Tower Records, Virgin Records, Borders and Barnes & Noble, Big Advice will play a CD concert party this fall at the Center for the Arts.
