Awesome service at Save Mart

This is a long-overdue “thank you” to Save Mart.

A couple of months ago, when it started getting really hot, I unlocked the car door and put in my groceries (some of them frozen).

I put back my shopping car, returned to the car, only to find that I had no car keys. I searched the lot and then went back into the store to ask the customer service desk if anyone had turned in some car keys. She said “no,” listened to my plight, and from that point on, I was amazed at the team effort that came together on my behalf.

A box boy nearby asked if he could help. The woman at the desk said there was an employee in the flower section who was close to the end of her shift and might be able to drive me home, where my extra car keys were! The next thing I knew I was driven to my home in Alta Sierra and back to the store in Grass Valley.

They called a day later to say they had found my keys near the cart area.
