Authors discuss the benefits of writers’ groups

Shauna Smith of Grass Valley and Anne Da Vigo of Sacramento will read from their new book, “Coffee and Ink: How a Writers Group can Nourish Your Creativity,” Wednesday at The Book Seller. Both belong to a writer’s group.

Da Vigo is a journalist. Smith wrote “Making Peace with Your Adult Children.”

The free event is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The Book Seller is at 107 Mill St. in Grass Valley.
