Auction to benefit seniors, arts group

An autographed Mae West poster, an autographed “Calendar Girls” 2004 calendar, Nevada County Fair packages and dining at San Francisco’s Ristorante Fior d’Italia are among the 200-plus services and merchandise available tonight at the Community/Senior Center in Grass Valley.

Tonight’s third annual “Not So Silent” auction benefits the Community/Senior Center and the Nevada County Arts Council.

KVMR broadcaster Len Gorsky returns as auctioneer.

The preview is 5 p.m. and the auction is 6 p.m. at the Community/Senior Center, 11350 McCourtney Road.

Admission is $5, which is the price of a bidding guidebook.

All auction items are tax-deductible.

Call the Nevada County Arts Council at 271-5955 or the Community/Senior Center at 273-4961 with any questions.
