Assistance of conservation service

My family and I would like to extend our thanks to the local Natural Resources Conservation Service: Jason Jackson, district conservationist; Kirsten Lasse, agricultural engineer; Paul Lake, soil conservationist; and Erin Foreman, soil conservationist.

Over the last year, I filled out a conservation plan and received an EQIP grant. This grant covered all the material expenses for our new, 3-acre orchard. We were able to buy top-quality, long-lasting valves, pipe, fittings and micro sprinklers. This grant not only helps California agriculture save water, but it helps a local organic family farm produce top-quality fruit for generations to come.

These folks have facilitated government, agriculture and consumers in working together. This is a true win-win situation.

Thanks for being good at your job.
