Career/title: Retired interior designer

Describe your art: Mixed media, (primarily acrylics) from serene to outrageous, from quiet to explosive, always with lots of colors.

How long doing it? Eight years

Why do you do it? Because I have to…I’m driven.

What do you hope to accomplish? Creating the drama of colors.

Does my art convey a message? Passion.

Where do you want to be with this in the future? World renown.

Any special training required? Life’s experiences and an overwhelming desire to break the rules, whatever they may be.

Favorite part? The process, the work itself and when people light up when they see it.

Least favorite part? The process of marketing, and the fear of rejection.

Time it takes? The creating itself takes me out of time, I have no idea.

Is it hard to do? Sometimes.

Other comments: I have some wonderful pieces to share in a variety of media and styles.

This opportunity with The Union is the first time I have shown my work to the public. Where to go from here, I have no idea … HELP!
