Archie Siver

Archie W. Siver, 88, of Grass Valley died Thursday, June 17, in Grass Valley.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services.

Mr. Siver was born Feb. 13, 1916, in Spokane, Wash., to Henry Siver and Kathryn Prentice Siver.



He served in the U. S. Navy for 10 years and married Mary on Jan. 9, 1943, in San Francisco. He was a plumbing apprentice and then owned a plumbing business for many years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and enjoyed gardening and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Siver of Grass Valley; daughter, Mary Scilacci of Santa Rosa; sons Roy “Jack” Siver and William Siver, both of Grass Valley; and a sister, Ann Martin of Gig Harbor, Wash.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.




He was preceded in death by his grandson, Robert Scilacci.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
