Another storm hits today

Another storm front is predicted to move through western Nevada County today and tonight, bringing rain to the foothills and snow in the mountains.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the Sierra from noon today until 10 a.m. Monday, when the front is expected to pass out of the area. There is as wind advisory for the valley from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. tonight, with gusts in the mountains up to 35 mph.

Skies will be partly cloudy Monday as the rain leaves. It will stay cloudy through Thursday, when there is another chance of rain, according to the Weather Channel’s Web site.
