Wedding: Neely – Sander

Dawn Crystella Neely of Nevada City and Jesse Joseph Sander of Camptonville were married Aug. 8 at the Powers Mansion in Auburn. The groom’s mother, Birdsong Sundstrom, officiated.

The maid of honor was Amber Neely, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kellianne Coffaro, Melody Bowden and Brittany Jiannino.

The best man was Cody Sander, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Trevor Halama, Mark Smith and Cory Sherlock.



The flower girls were Odessa Sander, the couple’s daughter and Kiara Neely, the bride’s niece.

The bride is the daughter of Linda Neely.




She is a graduate of Nevada Union High School and Sierra College and is currently attending California State University, Sacramento.

The groom is the son of Birdsong and Glenn Sundstrom and Rick and Susan Sander.

He is a graduate of Nevada Union High School and works at Waste Management.

The couple honeymooned in Cancun and the Mexican Riviera.

They reside in Smartsville.
