Nov. 18, Mannheim Steamroller: Grammy Award winner Chip Davis has created a show that features the beloved Christmas music of Mannheim Steamroller along with dazzling multimedia effects. The spirit of the season comes alive with the signature sound of Mannheim Steamroller music. Trip includes transportation, driver gratuity and lunch at Uno’s Chicago Grill before the 2 p.m. performance at the Gallo Center in Modesto.

Dec. 5, Singing Christmas Tree: The Singing Christmas Tree is presented by Capital Christian Center. This year’s presentation is entitled, Christmas in the City. Trip includes transportation, driver gratuity, show ticket and dinner at the Spaghetti Factory in Roseville, after the 1 p.m. performance.

Jan. 16, Imax Theatre: More information to come.

Jan. 26: Sacramento Aerospace and Railroad museums. More information to come.

Feb. 14, Band of the Royal Marines: Featuring the Pipes, Drums and Highland Dancers of the Scots Guard. Dinner will be at FAT’s Asia Bistro in Folsom. Sign-up sheet available at the October potluck.

Aug. 15-19, 2016, Pageant of Masters: Some of the highlights inlcude Coast Starlight train, Pageant, Mission San Juan Capistrano, Medieval Times show, Catalina Island. More information to come.

Golden Empire Sam’s RV Group

Our July outing was held at Woodson Bridge in Corning and our August was at Gold Beach, Oregon, to ride the jet boats on the Rogue River. In September our outing was to Redding, on the Sacramento River. Our outings are usually the week containing the second Wednesday of the month. We have enjoyed the wonderful weather and have had several short tours under our belt. On April 25, we traveled to Timbuctoo and Smartsville Pioneer Days.
