Mountain Stream Meditation Center
Our Buddhist Insight Meditation group meets every Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Mountain Stream Meditation Center, 710 Zion St., Nevada City. Please carpool.
On December 23, guiding teacher John Travis will lead a silent meditation followed by a dharma talk.
Our group also meets at the Center for meditation and discussion on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month from 7:30 to 9 p.m. and on the first Sunday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by a potluck.

Christian Science Church
Christmas Day Evening, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., bring the whole family for a special celebratory meeting of the healing Christ. Grass Valley AM AGLOW

A group of local men meets from 6 to 7 a.m. Thursdays at Penny’s Diner for breakfast. Under the banner of “Christian Business Men’s Committee,” we have breakfast, read a portion of scripture, share what God has done in our life and pray. Penny’s Diner is located at 2072 Nevada City Highway in the B&C Fowler Center in Grass Valley.
We are a Christian cancer support group that meets at Foothill Church.
Those with serious chronic illnesses, including cancer, and their care givers are encouraged to come and share in a safe environment concerning this difficult time. Pray Nevada County
We are seeking God on behalf of our communities. Open to all for Christian prayer, Pray Nevada County meets each Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. to pray for our county governments and services, schools and families, businesses and media, and churches and parachurch ministries.
