Holy Wisdom, Nevada City

We Orthodox call ourselves premodern, since the modern world has not served up a wide array of dependable answers. Orthodoxy is challenging. It is active and not passive. It’s the only church where you are required to adapt to it, rather than it adapting to you. It is learning to live like Christ. Divine Liturgy is Sundays at 9:30 a.m., Vespers is on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.
