"Iris" is a somewhat shy 1 year old tortie cat who is ready to be adopted to a loving home from Sammies' Friends.
Elias Funez/ |

Iris is a 1 year and 1 month old tortie coat cat who came to Sammies’ Friends in January as a feral cat from Nevada City. After spending time with her, she has become more domesticated and less feral. She is still kind of shy, but warms up and could be good in a quiet home, maybe as a solo cat. To adopt Iris, contact Sammie’s Friends Animal Shelter at 14647 McCourtney Road in Grass Valley, 530-471-5041 or
