Troy Smith and Annika Stackhouse announced their engagement in August at the lighthouse pier in Charlevoix, Michigan. Family and close friends were present and later celebrated at the Smith family residence on Lake Charlevoix.

The couple currently resides in Los Angeles. The bride-to-be is an advertising executive at RPA in Santa Monica and the groom is a tax manager at Solomon Ross Grey & Company in Encino.

He is also the founder of Los Angeles Responsible Pit Bull Owners (LARPBO), and the bride devotes much time to training, fostering, and finding suitable homes for rescued dogs.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Paul and Debbie Stackhouse of Nevada City, and the groom is the son of Steve and Mary Lou Smith of Charlevoix, Michigan. Their wedding is currently being planned for August 2016.
