Chicago Park students to create mural

The children of Chicago Park School are planning an 8-foot-by-16-foot mosaic mural that will depict the school’s logo – a stylized scene featuring mountains, a trail and pine trees with the name of the school and will be made of pieces of glazed tile.

All ages of students will work on the mural, giving them hands-on experience in the art of mosaic. The school needs glazed tiles, either new or used, whole or broken. Tiles can be dropped off at the school, or arrangements can be made to pick them up. For more information, call Gerrie at (530) 913-5568.
