Anniversary " Turner

Ila and Les Turner just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.

In attendance for a dinner celebration was their son, Larry Turner, and his wife, Fran; grandson Todd Turner and his wife, Emilee; and great-grandchildren Courtney and Ethan. Everyone at Quail Ridge Senior Living in Grass Valley was treated to a wonderful anniversary cake.

The Turners lived in Millbrae for many years, where Mrs. Turner taught school for more than 40 years. Mr. Turner was in the insurance business and also served on the planning commission in Millbrae.

After retirement, they moved to Red Bluff and lived on the river for 20 years, where they fished almost daily. Over the years they have been frequent visitors to Donner Lake, where they have had a cabin for more than 50 years.

They live at Quail Ridge, where friends and former students may contact them.
