Anna Werren

Anna Werren, 96, of Grass Valley died Friday, Oct. 27, in Grass Valley.

Mrs. Werren was born June 24, 1910, in Monrovia to Joseph and Anna Elizabeth (Hoeback) Mankin. She graduated from Monrovia High School. She married Robert E. Werren on Dec. 7, 1935, at the Little White Chapel of Hollywood. She was a homemaker and worked for the American Red Cross. She was president of the local Parent-Teacher Association. She enjoyed gardening and collecting various items.



She is survived by her son, Steve of Rough and Ready; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and John of Nevada City; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Robert and Zoe of Grass Valley; step-great-granddaughter Bre of Grass Valley; step-great-grandsons Nick of Grass Valley and Jake of Sacramento; granddaughter, Teresa of Nevada City; great-grandson, Victor of Nevada City; great-granddaughter and great-grandson-in-law, Jessica and Dale of Nevada City; great-granddaughter Daelynn of Nevada City; nieces Lois of Mission Viejo and Doris of Duarte; nephew Dick of Texas; and numerous great and grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Werren.
