Anna Laughlin

Graveside services for Anna “Sue” Laughlin will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sierra Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Nevada City.

Mrs. Laughlin died Friday, Jan. 31. She was 57.

She was born on June 22, 1945, in Fairfax, Okla., to John and Anna Sullivan. She attended Hennessy School. She has been a resident of Grass Valley since 1953 and a resident of Golden Empire Convalescent Hospital since 1973. She was an Elvis Presley fan and enjoyed singing, chapel, bingo and ceramics.



She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Wesley and Pearl Sullivan of Turlock; brother, John Sullivan of Turlock; sister-in-law, Mary Sullivan of Wheatland; sisters Kathy Jones of Oklahoma and Ora Lee Thomas of Arkansas; numerous nieces and nephews; and longtime friends Nick and Donna Ortiz.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
