Anita Roberts

Anita L. Roberts, 80, of Grass Valley died Saturday, Oct. 14, in Grass Valley.

No services are planned. Burial will take place at the Greenwood Memorial Garden Cemetery in Grass Valley.

Mrs. Roberts was born Oct. 25, 1925, in Ukiah, to Joseph G. and Irma F. Hurt. She graduated from high school in Williams. She married Carl E. Roberts on July 2, 1955, in Carson City, Nev. She worked as a secretary/receptionist in the medical field for 20 years before retiring. She was an honorary member of the Nevada County Country Club. She enjoyed gardening, golf, and playing cards.



She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Carl E. Roberts of Grass Valley; daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Fred Stowe of Nevada City; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Dana and Mike McCary of Grass Valley; grandson, Richard Stowe of Grass Valley; great-grandson, Finn McCary of Nevada City; and great-granddaughter, Nadine McCary of Grass Valley. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Darin M. Casper.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.




Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
