An evening of poetry

Molly Fisk and her students, both current and former, will read tonight at 7 at The Book Seller in honor of National Poetry Month.

Readers include: Michael Askins, Rebecca Bowler, Nancy Burns, Sher Christian, Thekla Clemens, Liz Collins, Kate Dwyer, Paula Elliott, Chris Irving, Maxima Kahn, Mathilda Moore, Marybeth Paul, Laura Pendell, Judie Rae, Becky Thorsby, and Tim Underwood.

Fisk has been teaching poetry to area residents since 1997. She teaches privately at her house, at the Sierra Nevada Cancer Center, and at Seven Hills School, and also runs the on-line poetry workshop Poetry Boot Camp (www.poetrybootcamp.com). An National Endowment of the Arts Fellow, she is the author most recently of “Listening to Winter.”



Fisk will be reading from a new manuscript, “Wherever You Are Going.”
