Amanda Dunbar

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 11, at New Elm Ridge Cemetery for Amanda Cordelia Dunbar. Mrs. Dunbar passed away July 4 in Grass Valley. She was 95.

Mrs. Dunbar was born July 16, 1911, to Robert L.

Mc Clain and Ethel O. (Dallas) McClain in Midoil.

She graduated from Santa Ana High School and, in 1930, married Aubrey J. Dunbar in Santa Ana.

Mrs. Dunbar was a homemaker and a charter and lifetime member of Grass Valley Soroptimist.

She is survived by her daughter, Ethel (Mikie) White of Lincoln; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Ila Dunbar of Grass Valley; daughter-in-law, Donna Dunbar of Nevada City; daughters and sons-in-law Billi and Bruce Moniz of Grass Valley and Mary and Kenny Wadding of Fernly, Nev.; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey; and son, Bob Dunbar.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
