Allen Lynch

Allen James Lynch, 50, of Nevada City died Friday, Dec. 28, in Nevada City.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services.



Mr. Lynch was born Jan. 20, 1951, in California. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968-72.

He was a general contractor in Placerville and Nevada County. He was a former member of the 20/30 Club in Placerville and the Placerville Moose Lodge. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in the high-mountain country.




Mr. Lynch is survived by his son, Daniel Lynch of Placerville; brothers Dan Bernard of Nevada City, Stanley Bernard of Alaska and Dennis Houston of Pittsburgh; and sisters Mary Barr of Sacramento and Laura Beckman of Placerville. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amber Lynch, in September 2000.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
