Aletha “Lee” Amato Callison

Jan. 13, 1951 – July 19, 2008

Aletha “Lee” Amato Callison of Grass Valley passed away July 19, 2008. She



was 57.

Lee was born on Jan. 13, 1951, in San Francisco, California to Curly and




Louise Amato. She grew up in Pacifica,CA and worked for Sierra Nevada

Memorial Hospital for 12 years.

Lee loved her family. She loved to go to the river in the summertime with

her sons and spending time with the family on Sundays at her parent’s house.

She is survived by her two sons: Teddy (Julie) Callison of Grass Valley,

CA and Greg Callison of Nevada City, CA; 6 grandchildren: Andrew, Heather,

Greg, Kyler, Baylee and Calee; two sisters: Rhonda (Tom) O’Brien of

Medford, OR and Pat Kline of Roseville, CA and two brothers: Bob (Pam)

Amato of N. San Juan, CA and Kerry Amato of Auburn. She will be deeply

missed.

Lee was preceded in death by her parents Curly and Louise Amato.

A funeral service will take place at Chapel of the Hills, 1331 Lincoln Way,

Auburn, CA on Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 12 p.m. Interment will follow at

the New Auburn cemetery.
