Alberta Pope

No services are planned at this time for Alberta Farlow Pope of Lake Wildwood. She died Wednesday, July 17, in Grass Valley at the age of 92.

She was born Jan. 26, 1910, in Galesburg, Ill., to Samuel and Mary Pope. She graduated from high school and worked as a clerk/reporter for B.E.B. Publications in San Francisco. She enjoyed gardening and was a founding member of the Lake Wildwood Garden Club.

Ms. Pope is survived by good friends William Jenkins of Duncan Mills and Carole Killian of Lake Wildwood. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ola Pope, in 1990.



Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
