ALBERT NOWOTNEY

Albert Charles Nowotney died June 14. He was 94.

In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.

Mr. Nowotney was born April 9, 1914, in Finley, Pa. He came to California in 1951. He owned and operated his own auto repair shop in Claremont. He and his wife Katherine “Kitty” moved to the Nevada City area in 1971. He worked for Meyer’s Chevrolet until he retired.



Mr. Nowotney is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Katherine “Kitty” Marie Nowotney; children Albert Nowotney Jr. of Victorville, Donald Nowotney of Upland and Karen Crawford of Oklahoma City, Okla.; five stepchildren; 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Veteran’s Association.
