Memorial services for Albert Carl “Fritz” Novak Jr. will be conducted at 11 a.m. Sept. 28 at Pucker Point.

Mr. Novak died Monday, Sept. 16, in Nevada City. He was 57.



He was born Aug. 25, 1945, in New Orleans to Albert Carl Novak Sr. and Velma Jene Kinnard. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the 1960s. He worked in sawmills and lumberyards. He was a member of E Clampus Vitus Chapter 10 and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed photography and baseball.

He is survived by his son, Steven Novak of Grass Valley; and brother, Joe Novak of Penn Valley. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Lori Novak.




Memorial contributions may be made to the Interfaith Food Bank.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
