Alan Foster

Private family services for Alan Ross Foster of Cedar Ridge will be conducted at a later date.

Mr. Foster died Wednesday, Feb. 25, at home. He was 61.

He was born March 29, 1942, in Edmonton, Canada, to Harry Ross and Jean Beatrice Foster. He graduated from San Juan High School in Sacramento. He married Charlotte Miner on July 9, 1988. He worked in concrete construction for more than 45 years. He enjoyed fishing.



He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Foster, of Cedar Ridge; stepson Seth Minor-Gann of Cedar Ridge; brother Don Foster of Alaska; sisters Sandra McGinnis of Citrus Heights and Joan Bucholtz of St. Helena. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Foothills.




Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
