Agnes Patrick

Agnes “Buddie” Patrick, 77, of Grass Valley died Wednesday, March 13, in Grass Valley.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services. Private burial will be at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno.



Mrs. Patrick was born March 4, 1925, in Hopewell, Va., to William and Bettie (Hardy) Bobbitt. She was married to Milford Patrick for more than 50 years.




She was a homemaker. She volunteered at Cancer Aid Thrift Shop for more than 19 years. She enjoyed listening to Bablers (religious music), reading, watching wrestling and traveling.

She is survived by her son Dion Patrick of Grass Valley; and daughters Tommy Westberg of Grass Valley, Clara Charking of Kelsy and Sue Lam of San Carlos. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996; son David Patrick in 1959; and daughter Peggy Patrick-Kolodziej in 2001.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Aid Thrift Shop, 317 S. Auburn St., Grass Valley 95945.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
