Agatha Pottinger

A Requiem Mass was held at St. Michael’s Church, in West Scranton, Pa., for Agatha V. Pottinger. The Rev. Mark Fischer, F.S.S.P., officiated.

Mrs. Pottinger, of Grass Valley, died June 16. She was 91.

She was born Sept. 28, 1915, to Frank and Mary Zuzack, in Latrobe, Pa. She attended Latrobe High School.



Mrs. Pottinger was a homemaker and a member of the Church of St. Stephen the First Martyr, in Sacramento; St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, in Grass Valley; and Holy Family Church, in Latrobe. She also was a member of the Senior Citizens of Latrobe.

Mrs. Pottinger is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen “Donna” Craig and Michael, of Clarks Green; daughter, Mary Ann Kemp, of Grass Valley; son and daughter-in-law, David Pottinger and Paula, of San Diego; sister, Madeline Bair, of Latrobe; brother, Joseph Zuzack, of Latrobe; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Pottinger, in 1990, and 13 brothers and sisters.
