Advocate for youth

During her tenure as a member of the Grass Valley City Council and as mayor of Grass Valley, Linda Stevens showed her dedication to the community. One of the ways she did this was by working closely with local youth and civic organizations to help make a dream become reality with the building of the Grass Valley Skate Park.

As a local, small-business owner, Linda was aware of the need to find an alternative location, other than the streets of Grass Valley, for the kids to skate. This is just one example that shows that Linda Stevens will not only talk about the problems facing Nevada County but she will work hard to create solutions. She is accessible and interested when it comes to the needs of the community.

Our family travels to Grass Valley weekly so that our son may skate your beautiful skate park. After a good session at the park, we always enjoy eating at one of your many fine restarants. Being residents of El Dorado County, we are not able to vote for Linda, but we sure wish we could!
