Academy produces top quality students

In my short tenure as a physics teacher at Nevada Union high school I have had the wonderful opportunity of working with several Mount St. Mary’s Academy graduates, many of whom have gone on to schools such as Stanford, Cal Poly and UC Berkeley (one such student was recently recognized as part of an engineering team that built this year’s fastest man-powered vehicle). Many more have had the work ethic and academic foundation to excel at Nevada Union and be recognized as valedictorians. Mount St. Mary’s students are respectful, helpful and full of strong character. They are class leaders.

This is why I am glad to see that Mount St. Mary’s will remain open and this is why my four children will attend Mount St. Mary’s Academy in the fall. Keep up the great work.
