Academy bestows award on Harmon

The United States Achievement Academy announced that Alyssa Harmon of Penn Valley was named a United States National Award Winner in Leadership and Services.

Harmon, who attends Ready Springs School, was nominated for this national award by Starr Palumbo, a seventh-grade teacher at the school.



Harmon will appear in the United States Achievement Academy Official Yearbook, which is published nationally.




She is the daughter of Martin and Michelle Harmon of Penn Valley, and the granddaughter of Jean Harmon of Grass Valley and Martin A. Harmon of Rocklin.
