Students from Mt. St. Mary’s Academy in the third, fourth and fifth grades help residents of the Golden Empire Convalescent Hospital get into the Halloween spirit. Service projects are an important aspect of students’ life at Mt. St. Mary’s, which teaches students that they can make a difference in the world around them, educators there said.
