A no-pet state

Thank you Jeff Ackerman for informing the citizens of Nevada County about the state bill in progress, AB 1634, the infamous spay/neuter bill.

This bill is very poorly written and will not accomplish what most conscientious animal lovers desire: The elimination of feral cats and puppy mills. It will eliminate dogs and cats from our state.

Sen. Sam Aanestad is our man on committee and in the Senate. He is opposed to the bill. However, anyone who has friends and/or relatives in other parts of the state needs to contact them so they, in turn, will contact their senators and express their opposition to the bill. Passing this horrendous bill will make our slogan “Welcome to California. No Pets Allowed.”
