75-year-old woman injured Friday in accident

A 75-year-old Grass Valley woman was injured in a vehicle accident at about 12:40 p.m. Friday.

At that time, William and Marilyn Alderfer, both 75, were driving a 1991 Toyota Camry west on Highway 20. Just east of the White Cloud campground, William Alderfer lost control of the car and drove it off the highway. He struck a tree. The car suffered major damage on its right side. Marilyn Alderfer was taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center by ambulance for injuries that included blunt force trauma to her head and chest.
