4-H open house tonight

An open house tonight will showcase the local 4-H Club’s youth program, featuring demonstrations, arts and crafts, game, activities and refreshments.

The Nevada County 4-H Youth Development Program will host the event from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, at the Grass Valley Veterans Memorial Building, 255 S Auburn St.

Available 4-H projects including baking, cattle beef, leadership, clothing and textiles, drama, arts and crafts, web page design and more.

The 4-H Youth Development Program offers citizenship, leadership and life learning for youth, ages 5-19.
